Ok, I ordered, now what?
When you place an order online with us, our automated shopping cart system (Miva Merchant, http://www.miva.com), registers your order, gives you a receipt page with a unique order number, generates an order confirmation email and sends it to you. Check your spam filters or junk boxes for your email from us. Sometimes the filters will mark automated emails as spam. It also begins our backend process. The system sends another automated email to us letting us know that another order is awaiting processing.
Processing your order.
We connect to the system via an encrypted channel to retrieve all the order information and begin putting your order into the shipping channel. We verify your address with a database from the US Postal Service and confirm that the address is a real deliverable address. We'll sometimes catch typos here and intercept trouble before anything gets shipped to a wrong address. If we can't figure out the typo we'll call you to verify your address, so it's important we have your daytime phone number. We'll also do a check for your address against the billing address of the credit card you used for the purchase. If everything matches GREAT. If not we'll call your bank to see if you have an alternate shipping address on file with them...we don't like shipping to the bad guys! If it's not on file with the bank, you may also get an email at this stage to verify the shipping address you'd like your order to go to.
Fulfilling your order.
We ship product from many different warehouses throughout the country to try and get the product in your hands as fast as possible. We may ship you multiple packages. We ship from warehouses in all 4 time zones.
Shipping your order.
After all your items ship, we'll send you another email with the tracking numbers. Remember, you may be getting more than one box, check your email. If you haven't received an email from us.
