An impedance matching distribution network is ideal in situations where numerous pairs of speaker are to be connected to a single stereo amplifier. This panel utilizes a pair of high-powered impedance matching transformers to allow loads at less than 1 ohm to appear as an 8 ohm load. A ten-position jumper terminal strip selects the appropriate multiplier, from 1X through 10X, depending upon the impedance of , and the number of speakers connected. By doubling the speaker pairs on each output terminal, and selecting the 10X position, a maximum total of 20 pairs of 8 ohm speakers may be connected, and appear as a 4 ohm load. The input terminal pair accepts up to 10AWG wire, and ten pairs of detachable output terminals accept up to 14AWG wire. The 2 RU panel is intended to be rack mounted, or may be located on a shelf, behind equipment.

Designed for use in multi room sound distribution installations where individual speaker selection is not required. Impedance protection circuit allows up to 8 sets of 8 ohm speakers to be connected to a stereo amplifier,and appear as a 4ohm load. Completely independent left and right circuits allow compatibility with all amplifier types. Attached mounting plate allows installation into standard 19" racks, or between studs spaced on 16" centers.

Ideal in situations where up to 10 pairs of speakers are to be connected to a single amplifier, and individual on/off selection is required. Additionally, a two-position source selector allows global selection from two different source systems. High-powered non-inductive resistors ensure that the speaker load never falls below 4 ohm, even when all ten pairs of speakers are operating. Heavy-duty rocker switches are rugged enough for commercial use, while remaining suitable for residential applications. Detachable terminal strips accept up to 14AWG wire. The rugged steel panel is intended for 19" rack mounting, and occupies two rack spaces.
