Put the finishing touches on your installation with speaker wall plates. You can use multiple plates in an array for a complete connection solution for your wall and ceiling speaker termination. Use decora light switch cover plates over the top of multiple speaker wall plates.

"This is a video review of our wall plates called "WP8", "WP4", and "WP2. And "8" is an 8-connector. One each for positive/negative for one speaker, two speakers, three and four speakers. You have one pair of speakers and two pair of speakers, so one of these holds two pairs of speakers. And this one will be for one pair of speakers. The left and then the right. You can thing of those as rows if you like. That's a little easier to operate on. And this is the single, "WP2". Some of these will come packaged like this, some of these will be packaged in zip-locks. Just depends on what manufacturer we happened to get them from. They are pretty generic. So we are trying to get them from the least expensive source.
So let me show you how these things work. They are a pretty simple device. There is not much to them. On the front and back there are the same connectors. These things screw out with your thumb screw. As these come out, they expose underneath the hole where the wire goes in. This will be the back side of your wall. You cramp that down. On the front side you can use either bare wire put in the same way, which is what we recommend unless you are going to move around or you can use a banana jack. And those will go right in there, into that little hole right there. So this is for one pair of speakers, a left and a right. And if you need to do more of them in a row, you can also use a multiple decora installation and a larger J-box. You can do up to four and each one of these will fit in each one of these slots. You put four across here. And then you just put a cover plate over the top. This is a dual cover plate. It fits nicely in there. You can also label these yourself and save yourself a little bit of money over pre-labeled ones. You can make them in any configuration you want, a couple four's a couple two's, however you want to go."
This is a unique concept of wiring for whole house audio. This method is ideal for installations where all the volume controls will be typically ON. The impedance matching is then done with an impedance matching volume control, enabling you to delete the speaker selector from the system. A system that typically has a few areas turned off most of the time is still a good candidate for a speaker selector styled system. Impedance matching volume controls don't have a true OFF setting, so if turned down all the time, they will suck power from the other areas that are ON.
These plates provide a convenient method of connecting numerous pairs of speakers to a single pair of binding posts. Allows bulky wire bundles to be located inside the wall and out of sight. Each plate features detachable terminal strips for ease of connection at the pre-wire stage. High-quality screw terminals accept up to 14AWG wire. Heavy-duty gold plated brass binding posts accept single or paired banana plug or bare-wire connection. Available in four, eight and ten pair configurations. Includes rigid decora style cover plate. White color.
Note: Plates are straight parallel connection and provide no impedance protection. These must be used with impedance matching volume controls.
Ideal when setting up any home theater room, where front, rear and center speaker wire is to be located inside of the walls.

8 Connector Speaker Wall Plate
Usage: These will accommodate 2 Pairs of Speakers ( Speaker A: Left + - =2, Right + - =2, Speaker B: Left + - =2, Right + - =2, Total 8 Connectors)
"F-Type" Connectors are the same connectors commonly referred to as "coax" and the same type as used from your Cable company.
Ideal for home theater and commercial sound applications where multiple cables are to pass through a wall, and not terminated at the plate. Perfect when pre-terminated cables, such as optical fiber, are routed through the wall, or when large numbers of cables make termination at the wall plate impractical. Hole diameter is approximately 2 ", and cables are angled at 90°, allowing equipment to be placed close to the wall. Rigid ABS plates are standard dual gang size, include matching screws.
4 Connector Speaker Wall Plate
Usage: These will accommodate 1 Pair of Speakers ( Speaker A: Left + - =2, Right + - =2, Total 4 Connectors)
2 Connector Speaker Wall Plate
Usage: These will accommodate 1 Speaker (Speaker A: Left + - Total 2 Connectors)
