You can also label these yourself and save yourself a little bit of money over pre-labeled ones. This is a unique concept of wiring for whole house audio. This method is ideal for installations where all the volume controls will be typically ON. The impedance matching is then done with an impedance matching volume control, enabling you to delete the speaker selector from the system. A system that typically has a few areas turned off most of the time is still a good candidate for a speaker selector styled system. Impedance matching volume controls don't have a true OFF setting, so if turned down all the time, they will suck power from the other areas that are ON.
