This is a brand we came across while doing some R&D for our own upcoming brand name speakers. At this point we're still a little cramped for space to bring in as many products as we need to create our own branded speakers and accessories. So we asked the factory we were dealing with if there were any other companies looking at the same type of products we were...and we came across JA Audio.

These products are from the same molds in which we were trying to design our models. This is the type of quality combination that we thought was missing from our current line-up of brands and models coming from the larger names that we carry.

Kevlar is an amazing fibrous material developed by two DuPont research scientists in 1965. The technology developed by Stephanie Kwolek and Herbert Blades proved to be stronger, more durable and lighter than any other material available. Kevlar is 5 times stronger than steel of the same weight. These unique properties lend Kevlar to a wide variety of applications. As you may know, one of first and most well known applications is for bullet resistant vests used by law enforcement as well as the military because of the superior bullet stopping power it provides without adding weight and restricting movement. Products made with DuPont's Kevlar–from loudspeaker cones and protective apparel to automotive parts and ropes used on the Mars Pathfinder–do more, go farther, last longer, and do the impossible.

JA Audio JA-I6AII 6.5 in. 2-Way In-Wall Speakers. This new model has been improved with mylar capacitors in the crossover array for smoother highs. It has a 1 in. aluminum tweeter and a 6.5 in. aluminum woofer with a butyl rubber surround.
