In-ceiling and in-wall speakers are designed to be installed with as little complication as possible. Manufacturers have pretty much settled on the "Dog Ear Mount".
They're quite simple to figure out, and require only some minor adjusting and the tightening of screws to affix the speaker snugly to the wall.
